Compliance & Legal Framework

JusticeLine is built on a foundation of strict regulatory compliance. We take TCPA requirements, data privacy, and ethical lead generation seriously.

TCPA Compliance

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) regulates telemarketing calls, auto-dialed calls, and text messages. JusticeLine maintains full TCPA compliance through the following practices:

Express Consent Required

Family members must actively opt-in before their contact information is shared with any service provider. We never share contact details without explicit consent.

Clear Disclosure

Our initial outreach messages clearly identify who we are, why we're contacting them, and what options are available. No deceptive practices.

Easy Opt-Out

Recipients can opt out of future messages at any time by simply replying STOP. We honor all opt-out requests immediately.

Record Keeping

We maintain detailed records of all consent and opt-in events for compliance verification and audit purposes.

How Our Opt-In Process Works

1

Initial Contact

When an arrest is detected, we send a single informational message to verified family contacts. This message clearly identifies the purpose and offers service options.

Example: "Your family member [Name] was arrested in [County]. If you'd like to be connected with a local bail bondsman, reply 1. For legal help, reply 2. For treatment resources, reply 3. Reply STOP to opt out."
2

Active Consent

The family member must take an affirmative action (reply with a number) to indicate they want to be connected with a service provider. No response = no lead shared.

3

Lead Delivery

Only after receiving explicit consent do we share the family member's contact information with the appropriate service provider. The provider then reaches out directly.

4

Provider Contact

Service providers contact leads directly via phone call - not automated dialing systems. This ensures compliance with TCPA restrictions on autodialed calls.

Data Privacy

We take data privacy seriously and follow industry best practices for handling sensitive information.

Public Information Only

We only access publicly available arrest information from county jail rosters. No private databases or protected information.

No Data Selling

We do not sell personal data to third parties. Contact information is only shared with service providers after explicit opt-in consent.

HIPAA Considerations

We do not access or share any protected health information. Our service deals only with arrest records and family contact information.
